Tourism is a Top Priority here

With the cheap airfares and budget travel on the rise. People are getting into traveling other places within the country or overseas. This creates a new opportunity for local tourism to spring. The national government is considering it making Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA) as a dual airport with Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Paranaque City, Metro Manila.

DMIA has been servicing international budget carriers such as Tiger Airways, AirAsia and others airline companies with international flights and destinations from Asian countries or cities like Hong Kong, Bangkok, Seoul and even Darwin, Australia.

Local budget airlines such as Cebu Pacific, Zest Air, PAL Express have already been servicing air transport and passenger services to local destination in southern island of Visayas and Mindanao regions from Diosdado Macapagal International Airport at Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga.

In a newspaper published report from The Philippine Daily Inquirer DMIA is expected to serve 750,000 passengers by the end of this year. By next year, "the number was seen to breach 1 million" said by Clark International Airport President Victor Luciano, in an interview.

On my research, there are many historical places to visit in Pampanga ranging from the adobe heritage houses dating back from the Spanish colonial times to other historical related and significant any visitor should visit.

In 1762-1763, the town of Bacolor was the capital of the Philippines during the British occupation of Manila in  when the Spaniards under Simon de Anda retreated in this town.

The San Fernando Train Station were our national hero, Jose Rizal disembarked for a stopover and recruit new members for La Liga Filipina on June 27, 1892.

In 1899, Emilio Aguinaldo moved the Capital of the First Philippine Republic from Malolos to several towns to escape American Forces. The Pamintuan House / Mansion located in Miranda Street corner of Sto. MarQuee Residences | Residential Condominium near Marquee Mall Angeles City

Since 2010, Alveo Land Company, an Ayala Land subsidiary will finally launched their latest project that will compliment bought the nearby developments, Marquee Place and Marquee Mall by April 2011. The project named ANGELES 9 will soon be envisioned as the newest landmark for those traveling up north via North Luzon Expressway.


Marquece Residences formerly known as "Angeles 9" is on pre-development stage and will soon render its License to Sell (LTS) by next month and are now accepting Letter of Intents for those interested to buy or invest a condominium in Angeles City. The whole project area is 1.3 hectares and composed four towers in which the height of two towers will be shorter compared with the other structures. Two of the four towers will be 8 storey high while the others would be at 13 storey high.


Apparently, there would be 20 residential units available per floor in order to maintain the maximum aesthetics and population in the towers.


The typical floor plan will be 1 Bedroom Units are 45 sqm, which shall comprise of 50% of the available units for sale. 2 Bedroom Units are 60 sqm, which shall be 35% of inventory and 3 Bedrooms at 90 sqm, which shall be 15% of the available inventory of units for sale

Coming soon...A college course in Real Estate Services / Management

There have been debates on whether the Bachelor of Science / Arts major in Real Estate Management or Real Estate Services will push through. With the news coming from Dr. Eduardo G. Ong, Chairman of Professional Regulatory Board on Real Estate Services (PRBRES) of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) during the 32nd Annual Real Estate Brokers Association of the Philippines - National Convention held at  Holiday Inn , Mimosa, Clark Freeport, Pampanga last November 25 to 27, 2010.

As he mentioned, it will be a four year course and will offered first by major state colleges and universities nationwide in the next year or two as a proving ground on this new curriculum. While private colleges and universities will be offering the course by 2012 or 2013 after the implementation of this.
 

Currently, the real estate professional is undergoing major transition from DTI to PRC with the start of acceptance in the application and registration to the Professional Regulation Commission  (under the Grandfather clause) since August of this year and will end on 30 of July 2011. The first batch of real estate professionals taking their first oath-taking at the Manila Hotel was held on November 30, 2010 presiding over was Chairman Eduardo G. Ong and others.

For many who took the "Panunumpa ng Professional or Oath Taking Ceremonies". It was a exhilirating and wonderful moment for them as they are now included in the rosters of true professionals under the professional regulatory board a government agency that is truly respected by most.

It is in my deep thoughts and hope that the real estate industry would  look into the potential of graduates of this new college course in the real estate profession and phasing out or removing the unscrupulous entities tarnishing this growing market in the future.

PS: Real Estate Brokers Licensure Examination under Professional Regulations Commission will be on March 2011. I make more further announcements and queries for those who would like to join with us.

City of San Fernando, Pampanga...The future model city of the Philippines

I was impressed with the recent improvements and infrastructure development happening through the city especially the major road repairs and improvements, lessened traffic blockage and widening of the road of McArthur Highway with the initiative and efforts of the national government agency of the Department of Public Works and Highways and in support of the city government of San Fernando led by honarable Mayor Oscar S. Rodriguez and council.

A lot of people got impressed with this breakthrough of giving the city folks of San Fernando the basic services in terms of education, health, transportation and communication, trade and industry, environmental management, public safety and order, cultural preservation and good governance. Mayor Oscar "Oca" Rodriguez have given priorities in this agenda which has become beneficial for the city folks. With his track record of good governance, City of San Fernando transformed into major competitive city in terms of being the 2009 Most Business Friendly LGU in the whole Philippines. Mayor Oscar Rodriguez is among the 2005 finalist of World Mayor Award.
